Comic Con takes over San Diego

Comic Con 2010, self proclaimed as a “Celebration of the Popular Arts,” grows bigger and bigger every year. And with an expiring contract with the city of San Diego in 2012, many fear that it may just outgrow the sunny, sea side utopia that is downtown SD.
And the cracks may already be showing. This year’s Comic Con was bigger than ever. I don’t have the official numbers, but it’s safe to say that the word is out. What was once the nerd’s cherished, secret, hideaway vacation now belongs to the world. And Hollywood, of course…
